Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to increase their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide bonus effects or attributes while the equipment is being utilized. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from karma merchants or traded with other players on the Trading Post or salvaged from equipment, or obtained as rewards in game.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions can be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are used for some items that have been ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. upgrade item are glyphs which can only be used into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes as well in trademark symbols registered to be used.
Each Glyph provides a primary stat boost for the character. It also comes with up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs that are available to you. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for, as each weapon, jewelry or armor piece may have an array of different Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will gain. Once a Glyph reaches level 15, it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your game, which is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs, however, might offer dual benefits in the event that certain conditions are met, so they're worth looking out for too.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the options to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to play a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can be done to assist you in gaining more experience or to get better loot, such as a better weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their strength. It could be that they like the design or the personality of the character.
You should ensure that you make clean changes when you reroll. You should verify locally to see if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev check. You should also upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can be weeks or days long depending on how lucky you are. During this time, you should avoid any optional enemy camps to cut down on time. In addition it is recommended to not repeat any quests that are completed later in the game. This can help you save time and energy.
When you reroll, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling may not be necessary but it's an effective way to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. It can be helpful when you're trying to find the most effective character in the game or if you want to test different play styles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets allow for operations like union, intersection, and difference.
When you upgrade a set item, it becomes an entirely new version that is better than the previous one. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets up to parity with items in higher-end sets. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
It's important to remember that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already exceptional and elite in their own right and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their stats even more. For these types of items, it could be worth the extra cost to upp them.
